Your cost by plan
Lowest cost first. Deductions come out of 10 paychecks a year, so each one covers 12 months of premium.

How your cost has changed
The district cap has stayed the same since 2025, so every premium increase has come out of teacher paychecks.
CompleteCare: $0 if you have other coverage
If you can join another employer's group plan, such as your spouse's, you can waive MCSIG medical and enroll in CompleteCare. It pays your copays, deductibles and coinsurance on that other plan.
Do I qualify?
What CompleteCare covers
- If your spouse's plan costs more than MCSIG's, you can get the difference back: up to $100 a month (you only), $200 (you + spouse or you + child), or $300 (you + children, or family).
- Covers only what the other plan covers. Check that your doctors are in its network.
- You can stay on MCSIG dental and vision. Ask HR what those cost when you waive medical.
- Life insurance comes with MCSIG medical. If you opt out, choose the EAP/Life Insurance option on the enrollment form.
- Enroll with the CompleteCare enrollment form and the attestation form. Claims for a year are due 90 days after it ends.
